The Jazmin Fine Arts and Technology Scholarship honors Jazmin Chereese Washington by creating educational opportunities that help people learn, grow, and build stronger futures.
What began as a deeply personal act of remembrance has become a continuing commitment to access—carrying Jazmin’s name forward through technology, education, the arts, and the lives of scholarship recipients.

Founded by her parents with love, purpose, and a shared commitment to opportunity.
The scholarship was established by Jazmin’s parents, Therelee D. Washington II and Alicia Nicole Smith-Jones, to ensure that her memory would continue to create possibility for others.
Together, they transformed grief into service—building a legacy that reflects both the promise of a young life and the responsibility to help another person move forward.

Full-tuition opportunity
The mission expanded to full-tuition scholarships for students attending Texas Premier Technology Institute, combining education with career preparation and support.
